Good all around headphones for under $150

I am looking for a pair of headphones that are excellent at music and gaming, they don't need surround but just two speakers. As for my taste in music I listen to everything so nothing to specialized they need to be able to play from dub-step to classical high stuff accurately and at the same time be at least good for gaming.

Been thinking audio-technica but this will be my first pair of headphones that cost more than $10 so all new for me.

EDIT I would prefer closed back headphones.
