i was wonder if changing my geforce fx 5700 le coreclock speed from 250 to 325 and my memory speed from 400 to 406 is a safe overclock? I have a card fan and pci slot fan.

Once you start seeing video artifacts (weird colors and other visual problems) you need to back off on the overclock, but other than that you can go as far as you want.

Thats a HUGE overclock. Is it stable? Can you run 3dMark 01 looping for a few hours? No offense, but it's kind of hard to believe that you can run your core 150mhz faster with no artifacting. Throw some extreme tests at it and see how it does. If it is stable, congrats!

That should be safe, I overclocked my eVGA 5700LE 256mb to 420/492 with minor artifacting (everything starting to have a hot pink tint), so I had to tone down to about 353/448!

ps: default clocks were 250/400, and I still have stock cooling

cheers
