Good PVR software

Alright, I have an MSI [email protected] card in my setup, and I've decided that I absolutely hate the included software. The included video editor isn't too bad, but I was wondering what good freeware programs there are for viewing TV. Once again, it must be free. I don't want to dish out for software that costs more than my card did. Also, it should be able to take advantage of the built in FM tuner. The card is a standard-def setup, cost me about $40, and is able to view signals in any format (NTSC here in america, SECAM in France, and PAL anywhere else in Europe as far as I know.). I need to be able to preserve the multi-format capabilities, as I'm in the process of converting some of my french videos from SECAM VHS to NTSC DVD. It works, and quality is alright. So I'm waiting for your suggestions.

my ATI HDTV card has a program called guide plus that seems to work well
I use Beyond TV 4 with my Hauppauge 150. It has a good interface, very easy to search for shows and setup recordings since it has it's own TV Guide plus additional search features. Even has a function called ShowSqueeze which converts the MPEG2 files (the regular recorded file type) to dozens of different types like DivX and WMV all automatically after you just set the files types and such. It also can generate smart skip files, so you can know where the commercials are and can just skip them. The only downside is you have to use their video player to see the commercial markers, but that isn't a big deal since there player is pretty good. It can be a bit of a memory hog at times and takes a long time to load up when I first start it, but it normally runs pretty well after that even while I play games and fold. I haven't tried other programs like Myth TV so I don't know how they compare. Overall, I am pretty happy with Beyond. =)
