So I reformatted my computer, but before doing so, I exported my bookmarks into a file called:

chrome bookmarks

When I import them back into the bookmarks, instead of importing straight into the bookmarks folder, they import into a folder called "import"

its annoying now because I have to click bookmarks and then again click import to get my bookmarks. Anyone know how to get rid of the extra step?

1) go into the bookmark manager
2) cut the contents of 'import'
3) paste one level above
4) delete 'import'
5) ???
6) profit

Right clic on any bookmark, then clic on manage bookmarks. There you can drag and drop your bookmarks and organize in folders if needed.
