well ive been playing BF4 and noticed past 2 days I have been getting some terrible spikes
so I have been keeping an eye on After burner & have noticed the core clock taking huge dips from time to time

for example it went from 1200 to 600, also even when I had it at 1097 it happened too also with no OC at all

this has only been happening the past 2 days, the rest of the time playing bf4 it never dipped once

I have googled this issue but cannot find a exact solution

has anyone experienced this before with afterburner?

Disable ULPS. The option can be found in ABs general settings.

- Did you reinstall the drivers after the Bios flash?
- What is you memory OC ? try reducing it.
- Reinstall AB (remove AB directory after uninstalling).

Try the AB uninstall route, it might solve the problem.
Press the reset button in AB and hit apply, uncheck the 'Start with windows' box.
Restart and then uninstall it. Remove the AB folder and restart.
Reinstall it 'preferably in a different location' and leave everything on stock.
Game for a few hours with AB's OSD for FPS/Core/Mem/Voltage/Power and report back if you can.

Hmm, I really thought we solved it with the AB reinstallation.

Good luck with your setup.
