I want to throw my PC out of the window

I've been folding for almost two days now on my 8800GTS 320MB, running Vista 32-bit and using the latest drivers (v182.08). I get sluggish response when I try to move windows application around the desktop. It's gets even painfully slower if I switched the theme from Aero to Windows Classic or Basic.

Everything is set to default.

I have 2GB of RAM ATM, should I upgrade?

Did you change the priority settings?

I have had issues with it running slow before and a driver reinstalled helped. I havn't used 182.08 on Vista, but haven't heard of any issues. On XP they are working fine.

Set your fan to ~80% and it will cool much better without being to loud.

Dude the heat is through the roof your whole system should be slow
First turn your fan off of auto, your card is running way to hot (and that might be causing some of the problems). As for the card, I have no problems folding on my 8800GTS 320mb. I even run the SMP client at the same time and still rarely see issues.
I have a 9800Gt and it folds at 58c all night. Your card is faster but the temps are crazy!

125C is the max temp for Core G80

I get that if I didn't install my drivers correctly. If I just uninstall and then restart and install new video drivers.

Uninstall, start in safe mode run drviercleaner, delete the old Nvidia Driver folder from C, restart and then reinstall drivers.

YMMV
