GPU Folding Troubles - 2x 4850s

Alright, I set up the multiple GPU clients and their respective shortcuts as described by the little link on Stanford of how to do. But where my problem really lies is that ever since the 9.x drivers came out my GPUs activity will never go over 53%, regardless of whether running a single GPU or both simultaneously (Not that it should matter, they worked at 100% before simultaneously).

I was just wondering if anyone has an idea of what's going wrong or if they have experienced something similar. Thanks!

Tech Specs for Ati HD4850

450 Watt or greater power supply with 75 Watt 6-pin PCI Express power connector recommended (550 Watt and two 6-pin connectors for ATI CrossFireX technology in dual mode)

I noticed you only had an 520w power supply. You may want to try and test a bigger PSU in there first. You would be surprised what the right PSU will do for a dual g-card setup.

It may run fine to the best of your knowledge. But while folding at full load your PSU may not supply enough.

I had the same experience with sli 8600gt's my psu was at the limit and my performance suffered.

But if thats not it i dont know what is. Hope i could help.

It's worked before even with the slightly less than recommended PSU. According to my Surge Protector or whatever you want to call it, my PC, Monitor, and Router don't pull over 400 watts under full load anyways.
Not sure but a lot of folks seem to have difficulty folding with the 9.X ATI drivers. IIRC it seems the 8.12 are better, for folding.
