If there are caps in different places, chances are one of the cards is not a reference board so, no, a reference block won't fit.

At a guess I'd say the sapphire one was the reference board but you could just put the block in place without fixing it with screws just to see if it fits.

Often full cover blocks won't fit non-reference cards. Why don't you just get universal blocks and some ramsinks? The 4850s don't need much cooling other than the GPU.

Thanks guys, ill get 2 gpu only blocks and some ramsinks


One of the heatsinks is glued onto the GPU. Is there anyway to get it off?

It shouldn't be glued. Check all the screws are out and then wiggle the sink about a bit, it's probably just the thermal paste being a bit too sticky or maybe the RAM pads have adhered a bit.
