You have a great, 22 inch monitor as is and very little is going to beat 4830s in crossfire. I'd otherwise tell you to upgrade the mobo, but you seem to have reached a nice overclock anyway. My vote is money, so you can upgrade later when you really need it!
I personally, would either get another of of the acer 22" you have and do dual monitors, or buy a 24". I am OCD like that, where I want either 2 of the same monitor or just 1 big one.
1 4850 will not be better than 2 4830's.
Wait until the 4890 comes out, and maybe get that.
My vote:
1 - 24" LCD
2 - 22" Acer LCD
3 - 4890 when it comes out
4 - save it.

That is a good point. I think you might want to consider two WD 640gb Blacks in raid 0 (unless you have 7200.12's). Maybe a SSD for your OS and games?

Well, 2 4830's beat a single 4850. And while I used 2 monitors for a while, the only time I really appreciated it was when I wanted to watch a movie on one whilst working on something else on the other, like writing a paper or--more commonly--surfing OCN... Sometimes I would like a second monitor, but for the most part, meh. I'd think a single 22" is fine.
I would agree--I think the best upgrade to your sig rig (if that's the point of the present) would definitely be RAID0 if anything.
Well, I forgot to ask--how often will you be using this computer? If it were me, and only like, once a week or so, I'd say just leave it as it is (17" monitors don't bother me as being too "small"). But if you're definitely going to get one of the two for it, I'd still say monitor.
