i just installed gid and played it then when i went to play it again it will not start. i read up a bit about this issue and replaced the grid exe. file with no dvd one still same problem. it looks like its going to, the light on my drive flashes but no joy.???
I would try a reinstall, just backup your saved games so you dont lose anything. It sounds like one or more of your game files got corrupted somehow, did you have a power failure or something while playing?

hey bro, i had a problem like this when i was running XP64, i got a thread here that might work or might not. give it a try and see if it does.
BPAMD4... Just save your game profile folder (C:> Users > your name > My documents > Codemasters > GRID) then reinstall the game as suggested above. Grid does seem to get corrupted sometimes aspecially after patching, it's happened to me too.
