Hey guys. The other day GTA IV wouldn't let me log into games for windows live saying "could not access games for windows live" or something like that. so I deleted my gfwl live from the game. I then tried re-downloading my profile and it wouldn't work. Waited another week and now it works, but every time I start up the game it says "starting a new game". I have located my saved game, so I know it exists. Thanks for any help.

Have you applied any updates?

Pretty sure newest updates do away with GFWL altogether.

Well, I have the steam version, and it auto-updates so I'm pretty sure I'm on the latest version.
