250 is nothing but a 9800gt
plus they are single slot coolers on this card and not double like the 250
will my current PSU enough for either card?

Both of your recommendations include cards that only support a 2 year warranty.... i find it disgusting that evga is not selling a GTS250 with their normal lifetime warranty.

@OP Go with those XFX cards, they atleast include a double lifetime warranty, too bad the cooler on them is ugly as hell.

Correction, the upcoming GTS 240's are just 9800 GT's the GTS 250's are 9800 GTX+'s

Welcome to Overclock.net! Fill out your System Specs.

Before you think about going SLI, I would ask what size/rez monitor you have. I'm assuming because you said blu-ray you've got a 24/1920x, but if not forget SLI. I would suggest XFX 260 GTX 216.
the xfx 260 SLI, i thought i need a bigger PSU than 650 thats why iwas thinking abotu the xfx 250
I think he was suggesting a single gtx 260. Less noise, less power, similar performance and less conplications depending on who you ask.

A 650W PSU should be fine for GTX 260 216 SLI, because together, the two cards use about 400W, leaving 250W for the rest of the system.
