I've got the upgrade itch again... I'm thinking about selling my GTS 450 SLi and going for an ATI card. Here's the dilemma:

The cards will go for $50-$75 each, what ATI card can I get for $100 to $150 that will beat the SLi? Or even match it for that matter. I can always add another card later.

I'm running my two 450's in SLi using HyperSLI, hence my wanting an ATI card.

I think you would be most happy with a 7850. Its proven time and time again to be the best bang for buck overclocker. Does great in crossfire aswell. If you dont mind used heres a killer deal:

You can still get a new one for around $140-160 depending what brand:

but something like the sapphire would be better. Or a twin frozr if you can find one. One of them will easily trump your SLI 450's

notice though some come with 2gb mem and some with 1gb.. Also dual fan vs single fan. The HIS is the cheapest new but comes with a single fan and the lowest clock speed. The sapphire used has only 1gb mem but still very decent. the powercolor single fan with decent reviews comes with the 2gb and after MIR same price as HIS. If you can find it though the twin frozr from MSI even used would be your best of them.

I was looking at a 7850 a couple of minutes ago, but didn't see that steal on Ebay. Good find!

Problem is I have to sell the cards to get the money to buy it... That might cut that off for me.

I'll keep an eye out for a Twin Frozr, can't find one currently though.
