GTX 260 or Xbox 360?

Christmas is coming up and ive kinda made my mind up that i kinda want an xbox... I was wondering what you guys think i should do? an xbox 360 or a gtx 260... I'm very satisfied with my 8800gts 512mb. most likely which ever one i'll get at a later time next year so really its which one is worth more to have sooner?
At first i thought the gfx card but then i realized all the games that i enjoy playing at reasonable settings my gts can handle and if i get an xbox ill probably forget about my computer, except for left4dead which im pretty sure can handle the 8800gts maxed. Or i could get left4dead for xbox? really do i even need to upgrade my gfx card? tuff decisions.

360, youve already got a pretty strong compy. Youll be playing stuff at good settings till Q2 2k9 I bet.....

Don't like consols of any kind. Games are usually low brow and I hate the gamepad in relation to the accute controls one gets from the keyboard and mouse. Go with the GTX 260.

I say buy my 360!, your system looks pretty good and pricedrops should come once i7 is out in the general population

You shouldn't buy a console, you will probably regret it, all the good games that come out on xbox360 can be found on PC except for some which you think will be good but you will find them mediocre at best.

I agree completely,multilayer computer games are much faster paced because of that percision you get from a mouse/kbd

I would say get the XBOX360 and save up a little money, than sell your GTS and upgrade your video card.

8800gts 512 is still a good card, you should get the 360 now then get a 260gtx later when you really need one..

360 because GTX260 is not much a upgrade from 8800GTS.
