Should be no problem. I had a BFG OC'd 9600GT and a stock PNY 9600GT and they SLI'd just fine. They will probably default to the lower clock speed out of the two cards.

Yes can work fine.
For me though the worst setup I ever had was 3x275GTX cards.
Could not run any games with high AA at high resolution.
Worked fine at say 1440x900 anymore and it was crappola

Theoretically GTX275 SLI should perform better.
