Ok I can't for the life of me find a GTX 480 for SLI without it being super overpriced. I have checked many forums and craigslist and all I get are people who act like they really want to sell but when it comes to for me to pay they never want to respond.

Now my question is should I just sell my 480 and maybe get 2 570s for SLI? I only play on 1080p and don't plan on going any higher. Would really like to get high fps on battlefield 3 and maybe be a little future proof. thanks for your help

i think the 480 should do fine for now, so just wait foe 6xx cards, and buy one of those... if not then the 570/580 prices will go down...

I seen it but he's selling with water blocks and I don't have a water cooling setup.

There's still a bit of a wait yet for Kepler, and I know you want to get stuck into BF3 with great frame rates

. I've looked into the GTX480, they are still a great card, and only recently have come down a bit in cost. Its a bit of a waste to resell the 480 and buy the 570's. Keep a look out on ebay, make sure they're selling it for way less than a 570. Frame rates are still very close between 480's/570's, should be great in sli

If you don't have the extra $10 then you shouldn't be considering a move to 570SLI as even selling your current 480 and buying a single 570 will cost you at least $100. If you wanted to go that route it appears you'd have to save up some more money, so seeing as you'd have to save regardless and you have been trying to find a 480 I would just save up the extra $10 and try to buy the one in the for sale section. Maybe if you tell him that you'd like it but you need a week to get the extra $10 he might hold it for you, that's what I would try to do seeing as you've had trouble finding a 480.
