GTX 560 Ti SLI vs Crossfire 6950 vs Crossfire 6970

I Cannot decide what gpu's to buy please help

6950 and 6970 can overclock too. They will beat the 560 Ti SOC on average when overclocked as well.

And you are running surround/eyefinity, you will need the extra VRAM which makes 6950/6970 the easy choice?

MHM yes but the gigabyte has a 100% of running at 1ghz+ and they scale better in SLI. you cant overclock well when using crossfire on these new cards....that is what I have been told

6950...Though its a little slower than this particular 560, it can oc to surpass it. Also it scales better in games, fps wise. And u have the chance to unlock it to a full 6970 so

hd6970 crossfire is the clear winner,
its almost equivalent to gtx580sli,
I wouldnt recommend u to unlock hd6950 crossfire.
Only crazy nvidia fanboys will ask u to go with gtx560ti sli,
hd6970 cf kills gtx560ti sli,moreover amd 6series gpu scales extremely well.

560's scale like crazy when overclocking, but with 3 monitors go 6970. Hopefully Kepler will have a minimum of 3gb of VRAM

Hmh ok well I havent had many cards a 4350,4890,5870 crossfire, and then ones im buying now

My asus 6950 2gb reference unlocks great! running at 840/1325 right now since i dont want to push it yet. took me 5 mins to unlock it! at 60c under load @50% fan profile. Its not loud at all. Based on all the reviews and benchmarks I seen, I picked the 6950 2gb since it can unlock. Under crossfire, it scales extremely well, most of the benchmarks I've seen it matchs or beats the 570gtx SLI

I dont game with 3 that often only on dirt 2 and fallout sometimes so using one monitor what is the best choice?

They oc very nicely,many OCN members have hit 1ghz with 2x/3x hd6970 crossfire

You will also see AMD cards pull away from Nvidia cards at higher res and multi screens when gaming...

I would go 6950s and unlock them...

Since you're running 3 screens go for the 6950. It has more vram and is faster, but it may also unlock (most likely). Aside from that they scale much better and don't cost all that much more ($10-$15?).

2GB 6950s use a little less power (although produce more heat) than a couple of 560 Tis, and IIRC it can unlock shaders (someone correct me if I'm wrong on this - I'm pretty sure you can).
6950s seem to scale a bit better at higher resolutions than a couple of 560 Tis, so if you can find some decently priced 6950s you should try and get a couple of them.

CRAP! I got this confused for another thread I think started also by you, asking for GTX 560 Ti 2GB vs GTX 560 Ti 448.
Sorry!! I'll take out the part about the 448 core Ti.
But my answer remains, 6950 2GB crossfire.
