Hey guys, I've been reading on the internet and watching youtube videos, but I am still not convinced of what to get.

I already have a 570, should i get one more or sell it and get a 680?

Plz help...

What resolution do you run? I'd say get the single 680 if you can so you can avoid SLI issues, use less power, and less heat to take care of.

I would go single gpu and sell the 570. I have a 570 and that's what I would do. I had a 560ti sli for a week when bf3 landed and I had little issues with bf3 and crysis2. Didn't think at 1080p sli issues were worth it so I returned one 560ti and sold my original one and got the 570. Because of that experience I wont sli again until I need more power than a single card can deliver.

Single 680 for sure. SLI 570 1.28GB will be VRAM limited in some games at 1080P, so even if the average FPS is higher than a single 680, the minimum FPS may drop much lower.

I have two MSI Twin Frozr iii 570 cards and I'm definitely scoring better than a 680 in 3DMark11, however make sure you get the 2560MB version of the card if you do decide to go down that route. The standard 1280Mb version will cause you problems at 1080p and above.

Did you ever tried a multi gpu config? Make sure u have a 120hz monitor to avoid any kind of stuttering/tearing issue if running multi gpu or go for a single 680 btw in any case i suggest a 120hz monitor.

If i was you, i would get a 680 and overclock it well.

Edit: There will be no 685. There will be a 690 though.

Always go for Single-GPU If possible. A single 680 wouldn't cause any problems in comparison to 570 SLI which might be problematic. (Heat, Microstutter, Room, Power, etc etc..)

This is really close in some areas and not even close in other areas in terms of performance.
The GTX 590 is basically two GF-110 cores clocked at GTX 570 ranges with a slightly higher CUDA core count, however for your configuration you might have slight stability issues. However, in general I'm just not for purchasing old hardware and for $300 your already half way to a gtx 680 which is almost as powerful as a GTX 590 but is much more powerful when it comes to it's cuda core count and other enhanced features. I'd sell the 570 you have now, and use that in conjunction with $300 you would have used to buy a second 570 and just get a 680 when they are more plentiful.
Investing in old hardware will always come back to kick you.
