It preforms better, that's how it's relevant. I hate fanboys of either side. I go with what's the best bang for the buck.

I'm not sure how that relavant either to be honest. First post in response to the next non-reference card that might have a ^+2 design besides the asus 3 slot cooler, and the thread turns into an nvidia vs ATI thread.

Please dont.

This is pretty great news, TFIII cooler seems pretty amazing.

.........

First off a 6950 is not stronger than a 570... secondly, this thread is 100% about the MSI releasing a twin frozr III model, and the very first post you made you look like an AMD fanboy. I didn't make the thread so compare price/performance. I made it to get info on this potential card.

Please leave the atiamd/nvidia crap out of this.

I'm not a fanboy, my previous 3 cards were ATI cards. I got this GTX480 cause it was on a brilliant sale. I get whats best for my money.

But this is a discussion about the GTX 570 Twin Frozr III. The fact that the 6950 is cheaper is COMPLETELY irrelevant. Go away.

You've made yourself seem like an AMD Fanboy. Stop trolling.

No clue. not a single pic of it on the internet. I have no idea how newegg is selling them before msi has announced it.

Its not even "preorder" or "coming soon" its cart-able.

I'm an AMD fanboy? Even though I own a GTX460 and love this card and recommend it above all else for the price? Also, a 6950 is much stronger, unlocks, higher OC, and better CF.

Sorry then. I dont want to argue about it. When the first post in response to a "holy crap this looks awesome anyone have any info" is "psst who cares 6950 is better" ...its annoying.

so... gtx 570 TFIII can anyone find info I'm not finding?

Since my galaxy is giving me problems if you read my other threads. I might just buy a different one, RMA this one and sell the galaxy.

I REALLY want to know if it's reference pcb.

I don't want a triple slot in case I SLI later... so ASUS is out for me.

From what I read over at JSP, tech power up, and Guru3d, it is reference, so it's gonna fry itself.

Not quite. Especially since the TFIII will have high-quality parts like the DCII or Phantom, a 6950/6970 won't be able to touch them once overclocked. And no, there are absolutely no issues overclocking the non-reference 570s that use different mofsets. My 570 matches a 580, and I can overclock it further, I just have no reason to do so yet since my CPU is bottlenecking. There are a few 1GHz 570s floating around, mine will be once I upgrade my CPU, and no single card from the 6900 series can match that. Gap closes in CF/SLI, but single card? The TFIII/DCII/Phantom 570s are untouchable by ATI cards unless the resolution goes insane. And at those resolutions, single card setups aren't really going to be in good shape anyways.

Anyways, to the OP, awesome news, now I might look towards SLI rather than Kepler depending on what happens. DCII SLI is epic, but having a 2-slot card on top will probably be lower temps.
