My question is I have 2 gtx 580 1.5 gb
And I just bought the 3rd one
The 3rd one is 3 gb which I realized when I got home and there is no way of returning it
So I was thinking if I use the 3rd one (3gb) as primary card and when I disable sli do I get a use of 3 gb ram or. I know when I enable sli it's uses only 1.5 gb of ram because of my other card.
Does it still uses is 1.5 gb
Help me guys here need some answers.
Thanks

using the primary card only you should have the full 3gb of vram. I'd trade it off for a nice 1.5gb card though and see if you can pick up a few bucks.
