I need to choose between EVGA, ASUS and Zotac.
Zotac is the cheapest one, ASUS I can get locally.

Is there any difference in components used for different brands of reference cards?

P.S. I'm going to use it with EK-FC580 GTX+ block.

No, there's no difference in the design if it's reference.

There IS a difference when it comes to warranties and customer service, though. That being said, I'm am very loyal to EVGA, as they have always been wonderful. ASUS happens to be a great brand, too. ZOTAC, I'm not as familiar with.

I would go with ASUS, mainly due to the fact that they seem to be easier to resell due to the warranty being easily handled by the new owner without the need for a receipt. Of all the brands, the ones I would recommend are ASUS, EVGA and Gigabyte for quality/reliability.

I like Asus too, but I'm not sure how good their customer service in Canada.

I have two Zotac ones, run well, and overclock well - never dealt with customer service, and they only have 2 year warranty, but heck I don't usually keep components that long

After you register the Zotac card, you get a lifetime warranty (for US & Canada only).
