So today I tried switching from VGA to HDMI, and my monitor (Asus VW246H) simply got a blue screen saying No Signal. Not sure why HDMI doesn't work, but VGA worked fine.

Well...used to. Now that I am trying to go back to VGA, I get a thin colored line on startup. This used to always happen and I ignored it (the line would appear, then the monitor refreshed and it was gone), but now it's staying there. I will edit the post with a pic in a bit, but basically:

1.HDMI does not give a signal
2.VGA leads to black screen with colored line at the top (this is what happens when it gets to Windows, when it's going through the bios everything is perfect)

2ND EDIT: Never mind, seems like Windows Repair did the job...somehow
