I have an Asus gtx 670 TOP edition (2GB VRAM) and its clocked at around 1225mhz. It has beasted through every game ive thrown at it at max settings on my 1080p monitor, but I have recently started playing Guild Wars 2 and I've noticed really low frames. I have all the settings maxed and supersampling on, which I assume is the biggest hit to performance. But seeing as my card runs BF3 maxed at ~75-80fps constantly I assumed an MMO wouldn't be a problem. In underpopulated areas im at 60fps but in dungeons and boss events I see frames as low as 25 consistently..I can take off supersampling but I was curious to see if there was any other solution? Is it possibly the drivers? Maybe they are limiting perforamce? Anything I can do? If not I'll drop down the settings but that is rather frustrating because I spent over 400 bucks on this thing so I could max current day games.

All help is greatly appreciated

GW2 is not optimized is the best answer... I can be out in the middle of nowhere fighting mobs and get 100+ FPS go near Lionsarch with or without lots of people and get 30.... This was with a single GTX 670 and when I put in SLI 2 x GTX 670 both overclocked at 1241Mhz with 1701Mhz on memory they rip all games apart then I step into GW2 and sure enough same results, low usage and horrible optimization.

I see, so do you think its just a matter of time until they optimize the game and performance will increase?

Is the GPU usage low? I'm guessing it is ... and this indicates a bottleneck somewhere (like the CPU) ... which actually as often than not means crappy coding ... it may get fixed in a patch if enough users complain like they did with Skyrim when it came out ... Bethesda patched it after a few months. Borderlands 2 ... I'm still waiting.

I'd go moan on their user forums ... try to start a revolution. Probably already threads about it though ... you can go add to the chorus of 'boos'
