UPDATE: GPU temps are incredibly good at 70 degrees C. It only jumped 2 degrees C from a +110 MHz offset.

Hey, y'all! I'm here to show off my extreme overclock of my GTX 965m GPU!

I used to have a puny +110 MHz overclock. I saw that you can get even more performance by flashing a custom vBIOS!
WARNING: Flashing a vBIOS can potentially brick your GPU if done incorrectly! This will ALSO VOID ANY warranty so be advised! This overclock is stable but I would not recommend a regular gamer to do something like this.

I don't have any benchmarks but I stressed this overclock for 2 hours and it seems stable enough. Let me know what you think!

Here is a validation:
Validation on TechPowerUp

I have a +350 MHz Offset on the Core and +200 MHz on the Memory.

I am impressed with these results. I took 2 hours to find the right Voltage to give to my GPU without it hitting the Power Limit. My power brick only supplies 180W of Power so haha.

Sorry man overclocking a laptop just doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

It's perfectly feasible and has been for years.

I was simply stating my opinion about overclocking on mobile chips. I am not saying it is not possible. I do not recommend it just as i don't recommend overclocking with a stock heat sink and fan in a desktop.

Edit 2: Overclocking this core this high will shorten the lifespan. Cooling is okay so it'll last for a few years.

Edit: Overclocking any Laptop that doesn't have sufficient cooling is a terrible idea. My Laptop is good at dissipating heat. So hell yes I wanted to overclock it!

HAHA believe it or not, my GPU temps never go above 70 degrees C. CPU remains normal as so does the GPU. My temps only increased by 2 degrees from having a regular +110 MHz offset.

Here's a benchmark I did on something I have: http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/15230842

The GTX 10 series and Radeon RX 480 wasn't out when I got this laptop so eh. Otherwise, I would have got 2 RX 480's in Crossfire haha.

480 Cf in a laptop? Reminds me when my uncle had a GTX 295 in his laptop and if you sat it on ur legs it would burn you lol. Or it might have been gtx 285m sli or 280m sli or something. Been to long to remember.
