having a hardtime making my decision on what card to buy. My main gaming comes from Warcraft. I plan to water cool my gpu. What card and brand would you recommend. I was looking inot the GTX(*) Poseidon but at a price of $850 i am sure there are better options. Was also thinking going 2 x GTX970 in SLI. any suggestions would be great

It's hard to recommend the 980 over the 970 if price to performance is of concern. If you're in the US and can get to a best buy, they sell the reference 970. You can easily find a water block for it. If I recall correctly, you can also buy a water block for the MSI 970 gaming which uses a custom PCB but water blocks are made for that specific card.
