So I used to get like a constant 300fps in csgo and now I'm getting like 100-150 and sometimes it even dips under 100. I have a 144hz monitor and I'd like for it to remain above 144 atleast.

The card is only like a year old, its a EVGA GTX 970 SC

I dont know why this is happening, when i benchmark it on unigine valley the results seem fine:

Just updated the nvidia driver today to the latest one, vsync disabled, and i just reformatted the PC last night and nothing seemed to fix it, all settings are at default.

What's your CPU at? What's a graph of your GPU usage look like when gaming vs. CPU? Maybe use MSI afterburner since it displays CPU graphs along with GPU and determine where you have a bottleneck. Was MFAA off before and now its on? With new drivers I believe it defaults to on.

My CPU and GPU are both at stock clocks. I'm not sure about MFAA but it was happening before i updated the drivers anyway (I'd assume its Default since I've never changed anything like that). Here is a pic of my MSI Afterburner graphs while playing CSGO

Would this be more an issue of my CPU than my GPU?

if your cpu gets the same cinebench score its not cpu.

sounds like software, maybe some type of windows update?

try different bios?

Is it on all maps? I know that nuke and cache recently had graphics updates which have lowered everyone's FPS a good bit. When did you notice it happening?
