Gtx260c216 55nm

Okay, what would be a fair price for a un-opened, I mean still wrapped in plastic, GTX260 Core 216 55nm? I have a friend of mine who is curious and would just like a rough guesstimate. I've been out of the field for a while so I can't really provide a good estimate so I figured I'd come to the site I can trust!

I just got one from Newegg for $250. Some people will say wait because Nvidia will drop there prices when ATI does but, the 260/280/295 just cost so dang much to make that I can't really see Nvidia dropping the price too much. If it were me and it was un opened I'd still pay retail for it. But I was upgraded from an 8800GT.Your upgrading from 2x GTX 260's 65nm correct?

If that is the case, then unless you are running a huge monitor a 55nm GTx 260 will be no improvement over what you already have.

Myself though will be upgrading to a GTX295 and calling it quits for a while.

you can pick up a 260 216 for 215-230, so id say that price range if your trying to get rid of it quickly, you can probably get 250$ for it if you sell it locally or dont mind waiting around for awhile
