Hello everyone, just recently bought myself a ASUS P8P67 PRO motherboard, and a GTX460.

I'd like to use my old GT240 as PhysX card, so :

1) Which slot do i install the GT240?

2) I read somewhere that, doing this will cut my GTX460's power from 16x to 8x. Right?

3) Will it be worth? I'll be playing Bad Company 2 mostly.

Thanks !

You install it in any free pcei x16 slot. your board cuts bandwidth to x8 for each slot when installing two cards but this won't affect performance for your 460. however, your gt240 MIGHT decrease performance in physx games with your 460.

try testing. also remember to set your 240 as a physx card in ndivia control panel

edit: bc2 has no physx support. only a few games do. most say physx is pretty much dead.

Physx isn't supported in BC2, haven't really come across games which support it. so for you it may not be worth it.

Install it in the bottom-most slot on the P8P67 Pro. x4 PCIE 2.0 is more than enough bandwidth for the GT240. As has been mentioned, BFBC2 does not support PhysX.
