Okay, I have a GTX460 FTW EE, and I thought I'd do some reviews on what people should expect at certain clocks, and what they should try. I really hope you enjoy this! This is just something I was doing for fun, and later I maybe will do Alien VS Predator, it's on sale, but I don't have any money for it(even though it's 5 bucks). Game Settings:
All settings at max
HBAO off(Everyone I talk to doesn't use it. I do while gaming, but this is for benching)
1920x1080p
8x MSAA/x16AF
Up river(The most taxing mission, I get much higher FPS at all clocks in multiplayer)

Stock Clocks:

720c/1800m:

850c/2000m:

My clocks(950c/2200m):

This card is a beast of a overclock, and is a really great card and I recommend it to anyone. I either play at 950/975/1GHz core depending on if my cooler in my house is on. I hope you enjoy this review!

Edit: Would love to see some CoD:BO benchmarks too.

Don't you know that you're bottlenecked on BFBC2 unless you have a 6GHz 2600K?

Solid review! 675 base core for the 460, all the way up to 950+ core... I never realized how well those chips OC'd... +21 minimum fps is jaw-dropping.

I'm dumbfounded by the difference between 850 and 950. If I may make a suggestion, normalize the graphs, and perhaps put all four values into one chart.

950c - wut? Did your GTX460 go super saiyan? That's a hefty increase in FPS there.

IMO the gtx460's stock clocks were far too low.

This is why I have recommended Fermi when applicable over competitive ATI cards if you like overclocking. Fermi scales so well with core clock, it's why my 480 still makes me happy.

IMO the gtx460's stock clocks were far too low.

The stock were only 673 I believe. Crappy clocks, lol.

Used the benchmarking tool I got off of guru3d, by using it to capture all my moves and cameras of all AI, then I played it through each one to get the same FPS, then did runs without to check too.

Yeah, it's been at there for awhile, ran many artifact scanners, never had a single one. It's a great card! Even now without good thermal paste it runs fine, I had to use some ****ty stuff, because I thought I had arctic silver, but I didn't. I'm gonna pick some up this week I hope.

I am definitely pleased with the gtx 460 768mb msi twin frozer 2. Runs very cool...like 55c in game...it's pretty ridiculous. I could run some sli benches of bfbc2 when my sli bridge arrives. I'm running a 2600k stock clocks with the stock heat sink still

Hopefully my computer sells soon so I can get either a 2500k or 2600k.

You guys are thinking too much on "That much FPS for 100 Mhz on the core?!?!!".
He also raised his memory clocks by 200Mhz and it does add to the performance.

@OP: You should have put all of these in 1 graph. Would be neat if you did a few other games (don't bother with black ops) like Just Cause 2 or Metro. =)

I don't have either, but I will try hopefully tomorrow as I need to go buy some arctic silver to reapply it so I can get down from 65-70c to 60-65c or so. I will try one graph for the next benchmarks. Remember to +rep if you like it.
