Was wondering if I'll get better performance from a GTX590 or two GTX570 in SLI? How about two GTX580's in SLI?

Two GTX 580's in SLI will give you the best performance.

The drivers now lock-down the 590's OC options badly, so a pair of 570 or 580 will both likely outperform when pushed up.

Multi GPU i would go 2 x HD 6950 + Unlock of HD 6950 and if you got $ GTX580 SLI. Single GPU HD 6990 or GTX580.

If you've got the money, there is nothing on the market that can trump SLI 3GB 580s without going to three cards.

I'd take the 2x GTX580 for multi-monitor
But if you only have a single monitor I'd go for the GTX 590
I'd suggest you the 6990 because it's simply the best single GPU and it's about 100 more than the GTX590

Obviously 570 sli vs 580 sli depends on budget... they aren't even close in price...

if you only have $650 to spend get 570's, if you have more you can get the 580's...

Yeah, a 6990 isnt a single GPU. It's two GPU's on one PCB.

The drivers for the Cayman still suck... ATI = beta till upgrade.

Love the cards tho, I feel all clean and tingly not paying the other company to suppress development of new ideas.
