$10 worth of 2x8 pine and birch plywood gave me:


It is hard to tell in the picture because it is stained ebony.
You can't really tell it is wood unless you are up close.

End point: wood equals cheap and effective.

I wouldn't buy the mouse though. Too gimmicky.
