I bought hl2 when it first came out. I made a steam account the same day to imput the code and play. Today, i tried installing HL2 on my latest steam account and i got an error. It is registured to my old steam account. I can't remember the user name and password and the email address used at the time. I clicked on retrieve lost account and imput my HL2 code. It then said "an email has been sent to the owner of this code via email" I have tried all my email addresses but i can't find this email. EEERRRR! what do i do? can i bypass steam on install or something?

They wont move the HL2 from one acc to other.
Bypassing the steam is illegal.

Eighter start remembering your password or buy new copy.
you can't install the same code on a different account. when you register a game on one account, it is linked to it forever.

there's always a way to retrieve a lost password.
sorry i dont think you can, you can probably talk to steam support and tell them the key, thats the best suggestion that i have.
Email sent with photographic evidence of the HL2 code and game.

Steam support should give you the account.

Yea, Steam Support is pretty understanding. You should get it back.
Well its been longer than 24 hour with no reply. I added to my message asking for help with FEAR2. It was registured if another old old old account that i can't remember the loggin to. I have given them evidence again towards this.
For the future, don't make so many Steam accounts.
Sorted, got my old account. Now i need steam to retrieve my account for FEAR2 lol.

steam support typically takes a couple of days. 2 or 4...

give them time, they will help you when they get to you

Stick to one account, you're gonna end up getting royally screwed if you don't.

i don't think they'll change the key to another account. the best they will do is to give you your old user name and password.
