Here is another Half Life video that someone did. I don't think it is official but it is really well done.

I don't know what Escape from City 17 you were watching with the boobs, but sounds good. lol You sure you are talking about this Escape from City 17?

I'm not sure what Escape from City 17 you saw, A.) there are no boobs, B.) the visual editing is better, C.) the cinematic editing is better, D.) the costuming is far, far better, E.) the visual environment is amazing as compared to just taking an existing modern day city and adding a few television screens here and there with ****ty building explosions. The acting may be bad but what do you expect, it's not a Hollywood movie.

Yes, if you watch the whole video, it shows upcoming footage with the lame headcrab costumes and the token blond. lol I understand people have their opinions, but the production value of the video in the OP is leaps and bounds beyond that of city 17 (and the video posted isn't even finished)

I agree the production value in 'What's in the Box?' is much better, but Escape from City 17 is pretty damn good. Don't discredit it as guns and boobs because it has a woman in it.

I also agree City 17 is amazing. But I personally think this video is better. I shouldn't have discredited it though, you are right. Both are good, and opinions will vary.

I agree with No0nne. I'd take Escape From City 17 over this.
It's epic, cinematic. The dubbing needed work, but that didn't kill the rest of it for me. The atmosphere was through the roof. The shots were incredible. And on a $500, not including hardware and such they already owned.

In terms of production value, I'd take the gunships in Escape over the zippidy helicopter in this. The monitors and flashy holograms are cool. Wonder if anyone knows the budget on it. I found the music from popular movies/tv shows in this horribly distracting.

This one isn't any less 'boobs+guns'. This one is 'cell phones+guns'. They are both action shorts. But the feeling of immersion and tension in EFC17, along with the camera work, elevates it beyond this.
