As the topic states, while I don't see how it could be completely beneficial it could help out some members.
For instance, one, it could help show when we have spam and what not. I mean, an automatic e-mail to everyone that subscribes would be able to be notified of Spam much easier.
Second, for people that are specifically interested in Hardware vs Software news. They could be up-to-date on the latest information we have.
