Have Gtx 570 vs Gtx 670 (4GB) Worth getting?

I have a msi gtx 570 twin frozr iii pe/oc and I hate the way I cannot max out heavy games as Metro 2033 and others alike.

I wonder if its worth getting a single gtx670 and will it max out everything in a single monitor 1080p?

Also is gtx 680 (4GB) Worth over the Gtx 670 (4GB)?

My specs

1080p monitor
Asus p8z68 deluxe
i5-2500k
Gtx 570
8GB RAM
850 PSU

Thanks for advice

Just get a 2GB 770. The 770 is basically an OC'ed 680 for the price of the 670. There is no need for 4GB unless you plan on running surround with all the eyecandy AND have 2 for SLI.
Better getting something that can do everything well I currently have a evga 570 classified I would advise you to go with AMD this round if you can wait and have ~$500 to spend I would advise to wait until October when AMD will most likely release new cards.
The 7950 is a cheap alternative an does good in practically everything
Yes I am in eye candy thats why I dont play games which I cant max out everything including AA.
I also like modding and some mods have very high res textures thats why im thinking to get the extra vram.

I found a second hand Gtx 670 4gb for $275.00 and I havent used AMD in my life I just love nvidia and its advanced settings from nvidia inspector.

So is it worth for $275 ?
at 289 usd you can get a HD 7970 which oced will outperform that 670

Why not just get a Brand new 760 2gb for the same price, and overclock it? It's basically the same performance as a 670 when overclocked, and you also get full warranty

Just so you know, having extra 2gb of V-Ram does not help you Crank your AA to the fullest settings

. Your GPU will run out of RAW processing power before you "run out of V-ram" with 2gb.

I play at 3100x1744p (5,406,400 pixels) with SLI 770 2gb, That's 3,332,800 pixels greater than 1080p, and I never run out of V-ram on any game i have played.

Crysis3's Allocated V-ram is at 2gb on that resolution with x2 SMAA, so 1080p will be nothing to worry about.

Ins't it a better idea to step up on your monitor since running max AA on 1080P is a waste.
1440P and 4x AA should do good I figure it would be more eye candy

This gen I don't think any card is worth it @Nvidia most are voltage locked to 1.187 and up to 1.212 by default.
Also gimped on compute front but that you probably don't care for as you want it for games.
So no I personally don't think it is worth it unless you can get a $500 GTX780

Thansk for the advice but I dont want to use AMD cards because my cousin has and we hate it. i just love nvidia and its advanced settings through nvidia inspector.
I think I'll go with gtx680 or this gtx670 one :/
