Having problems getting the HAF 922 side panel on.

Ok so I got my HAF 922 and cable managed behind the mobo. I couldn't get the side panel on behind the mobo tray(non mesh one) so I took all the cables out figuring they were blocking the panel from closing.

Still though I can't get the panel to slide all the way, a part still juts out with no cables back there! I can't even line up the screw holes. I'm very frustrated, any ideas?

With the HAF,you need to line up the front first so it sits flush.it should then line up at the back, but you maY have a samll bulge about 3/4 of the way back. You may also need to re arrage the way your cables are routed.Check out the cable managment link in my sig to see how I did my managment

OK thanks, now I get that 3/4 bulge on the back of the panel with no cables, is that normal?

Exactly, you have to line up the lip on the side to the recess on the case

Ok one last question. So the panel doesn't slide all the way to the end, so theres a gap between the front bezel and side panel? Also thanks for the guide and help so far. +1

No you shouldn't see any gap at the front. If you can show me a picture,I'll be able to help you more
Unfortunately I don't have a camera lying around currently. The best way I can describe it is from the side you can the steel metal from the inside of the case in the bottom left corner and then there is that gap which prevents the panel form going on all the way back.
It's sounds like you don't have the 3 lips on the panel correctly lined up with the recesses on the case.try this, but the panel onto the case about 50% of the way down and slowly push it foward.if it won't close or gets snagged on something then something isn't right
So I fooled around with it, (trial and error) and ended up being able to get it all the back . The panel just juts out a tiny in the front overall I'm happy because I can finally screw it on. Thanks a lot!
