The "assistance off" mode is absolute garbage.
Why would you ever want to play a game in that view?
That being said...
DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME WITH A MOUSE
Please, if you don't have a joystick or a controller, just walk away. This game, like most flight sims, translates worse to the mouse than Starcraft does to a controller.
Even the assistance off mode becomes somewhat useful with my 360 controller plugged in. I can't wait to try this game with a joystick

The missions in HAWX is very boring, Ace Combat's missions are much better. This game is not fun enough for arcade players, and not realistic enough for sim players.
