How about checking it in Catalyst Control Center (look at the Overdrive tab) or Gpu-Z?
HD 2400 Pro temp?
I have an HD 2400 Pro at work and I grabbed ATI Tool to check the temp but it freaks out. Takes up almost a whole core and says my clock is -1.#J mhz. Any ideas or suggestions for a different temp monitor?

CCC doesn't seem to have an Overdrive tab. I have just the Display Settings tab when going into advanced. I have been using nvidia for a few years now and wanted to make sure I got a program that is less likely to give me inaccurate temps. I'll give GPU-Z a try and see how it goes.
