i have a samsung 80gb ide hard drive that i am selling but i want to clean the files off the hard drive from windows; i understand that it is not the best way to format the hard drive but i only have one IDE slot and my cd-rom is ide as well, so i cannot run DBan bootdisk.

so i plugged the ide hard drive into my motherboard and i am running sata hard drive as primary but in windows, the samsung ide is recognized as a floppy drive.

how do i fix this in BIOs?
