Updating often! Or when new content arrives!

FTP Information:
server address: geekbocks.com port 21 ][ login: [email protected] ][ password: video-uploads
If you have a video you would like added to this list, please upload them to my FTP and I'll update the list! If you choose to upload a video, please try to follow the following:
  • No copyright infringement
  • Loops well
  • No audio (it's a wallpaper!)
  • No movie trailers!
If you are using WindowsXP, you can use VLC player [how] or XPScene to set your video wallpaper. Windows Vista (non Ultimate) versions, check here for information to enable DreamScene on your OS. Remember to back up!

THE LIST!
I typed these all in by hand, if links do not work, please let me know!

ok cool will check it when i go home later
File links do not work yet, as I'm still uploading them to the server. Going to have to convert them all to .rar files for the thumbnails to work properly (and save space/speed). Will update this once done.

[edit] all videos on the server, enjoy!
So these are wallpapers? If so, what res?

How do you apply the movie as the desktop? This seems like it would be interesting.

Oh and do they support 1920x1200/1080?
I am unsure how to use these as well, but interested!
You must Vista Ultimate, maybe Win 7 but I'm not sure on that one. BUt yeah, you can use them as a wallpaper.

All you other vista users can check out this:

http://www.winmatrix.com/forums/inde...howtopic=21134

But it never worked for me.

edit: but the color cubes one makes me want it to work.

VLC has a function to display a movie as a desktop background. It uses up quite a bit of memory to do so. Something around 100 Mb.
you need to have dreamscene installed, and then you can apply an WMV video as wallpaper.
They are mostly all HD video wallpapers. HD 720+ resolutions.

At work atm, using VLC Player + WinXP + Squiggily. Never goes over 10% CPU, 30Mb of ram tho. I still love it =)

It will build up gradually, I used to do it at work with VLC and I would have 20% cpu 100-120 Mb be the end of the day. Not a stable option in my opinion. Would be interested in your end of day readings though.
