i hav see the 4850 is beat the 9800gtx+...but the 4850 is high temperature when it loading...9800gtx+ is good in cooling,but it slower than 4850...i also hear that many problem in ati product...i confuse on this...any comment??

Basically, the 9800GTX+ and the HD 4850 both have advantages over each other. Some games go to the 4850, and some games go to the 9800GTX+. It is true that the 4850 does run somewhat hot, but it doesn't really matter since most video cards can handle 80c just fine. Either way, you would've made the right choice of buying the 9800GTX+ because it will give you a huge boost from your 8500GT.

I would go with a NON reference 4850 1gb. If you want stock then get the 9800gtx+ (better cooler, higher overclocking). Seriously though, get the 1gb 4850 with a dual slot cooler. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102802

ive tried the 4850,but i didnt like the fps dips,and hotfixes for every game.i missed ditgital vibrance,and switcing from monitor to to hdtv was a chore.so i opted for a 9800gtx+ faster than 4850 in the games i had ,inc fallout3.brothers in arms.cod4.

I've got HD4850 they are amazing card but yeah I would go for a 9800GTX+ or even if you can find another $50 go for a GTX260.

I'm buying two 8500GT's to run in my P5N-E SLI see how they perform

You will be highly dissapointed with 2 8500gt's. It wont even perform as good as 1 8600gt.

I went for a 9800GTX+ this weekend and couldn't be happier. It plays Company of Heroes and Call of Duty: WaW at full graphics settings without a stutter.

Edit: I should mention that I'm only running at 1280x1024 so you might have different results with your 22" monitor. Either way, you can't really go wrong. I'd go with whichever one you can get cheaper. Fry's had a couple of open box 9800GTX+ cards for $170 + a $20 MIR...$150 for that card was a real steal.
