Only on certain files on my 1TB HDD do I sometimes get stuttering. The entire video will freeze up for a sec or two.

I ruled out the graphics card and almost anything else. I have 2 SSD's and a HDD. When I move the file from the HDD to the SSD it play no problem. They aren't HD files either. Just some old Family Guy episodes in reasonable quality.

Could my HDD possibly be going bad?

Could something else be accessing the drive at the same time?

It's not impossible, but I doubt it. All I store on this drive is music and movies, though I have nearly 750GB worth.

I'll try this.

EDIT: Analyzed the disk and it's 0% fragmented... Should I defrag anyway?
