It's a little low for a pair of Raptors, but not dramatically. You can compare with the hard drive database. Generally, a pair of Raptors scores about 10% higher.

Not sure what your settings are... stripe size, etc.<br><br>
Mikey122687 has 150GB Raptors, so you won't be able to touch his, but ~135MB/s-140MB/s should be within reach.<br><br>
I am currently beating you with two of mine in RAID0...which should not be the case

It's that NVRaid controller my guess. Nvidia RAID controllers seem to be slower than Intel or Silicon Image Controllers--at least on my boards. If you have a choice of RAID controllers onboard try setting up an array on that.

</div>if you change it, You'll lose all data. <br />
<br />
Depends on what you have right now. People use 16kb or 32kb because it is proven to be fastest out of all. If you have either one. I'd say leave it. Not worth the hassle to resintall everything

What you could do is use Norton Ghost or similar program to copy your entire hard drive to a spare one. Reconfigure your stripe array and copy it back <img src="/images/smilies/wink.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Wink" class="inlineimg" />

If you do change it, use 32kb stripe since that works best with the 74GB Raptors. <img src="/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" /> (I should know) <img src="/images/smilies/tongue.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Stick Out Tongue" class="inlineimg" />
