I really don't know too much about the fragmentation or anything on a hard drive, so I'll get down to the basics.
Recently my games FPS's have been dropping to unbearable levels for a few seconds.
-all FPS are FRAPS generated-
in GRID I get about 65-70 FPS (Medium settings, 800 x 600)
in Sims 3, I usually have the same amount as GRID, and it's maxed out, ultra high, and 1024x768)
GTA IV gets between 19-25 FPS (low/medium, 800x600)
GRID and TS3 drop to between 5 and 15 FPS, and GTA IV goes from ~25 to between 3 and 5 FPS. It's getting to the point where I can't even enjoy my games anymore (I've adapted to the low FPS with GTA IV)
So I just checked my Disk Defragmenter with Windows, and I got this:
