Just signed up here, not sure why other than I wanted to thank Justin for answering my problem -- I found his solution via google. I'm not sure what this site is about yet, so I'll just browse around awhile to get acquinted with it.

Ok I added what little I know about my computer in my CP. I'm more a software guy (c/c++) than hardware. When I need a new computer I just toss the old one out and buy another one that's already put together, like the HP Pavilion that I bought a couple years ago.

But it is good to see oldies come around and join in with the new kids. Even though your more software oriented, your experience alone will be greatly appreciated around here.
