I'm pretty much looking to buy a gaming headset for roughly around 100 EUR/130 USD.
Obviously I'm not only going to use them for gaming, so music, videos, movies etc.

I have looked at some headsets like:
Corsair Vengeance 2000
Sennheiser 330
Logitech G35

I have read that the corsair one is rather good by the looks of some reviews.
I have watched some Audio Technically headset's but those seem to be bad***** expensive...

But I was wondering, maybe someone knows anything else, that could be good?

PS. Over the ears would be really nice

I have a Razer Charcarius and it's sound quality is amazing. (Especially with a decent sound card)

i would not recommend razer, as they are not a audiophile brand and sound quite bad. ive only heard razer kraken pros, they cost me nearly $130 total, they are absolutely terrible sound quality wise, tho i have read that razer orcas are a bit below ad700's in some parts of sound quality, or its just someone who loves them for the color trying to give a good word on them, but they are the same as razer carcharis technically, i wouldnt recommend them as 95% of the people out there say that they're quite bad..

my $20 skullcandy on ear headphones from 2005 sound way better than the krakens ....

they are the best mid range dj headphones between $100-200 and are very comfy and durable, ive used mine for like since they released. remember to break them in, a couple days loud volume, or use the pink noise sound file
Definitely agreeing with this. Basically, get a separate mic and live with putting it somewhere and pick up yourself some nice cans with the rest. Nobody cares about your mic as long as they can hear you right? And what you want on your head is the sound, not the mic.

So you bought them and are still using them even though they're "terrible"?

So these Audio Technica ath-m50, how do they compare to the Audio Technica ATH-A700X ?
I also have a ASUS Xonar DG the 5.1 soundcard, which I bought for my current tritton PC 510's.(don't buy them, they are good for gaming and that's about it, songs aren't that bad either but who am I to talk this is the best headset I have had so far:/ )

Are the m50's over the ear or on ear?
Also the mic, I'll probably go with the zalman clip on mic.

Actually, Razer headsets are generally shoddy in build and longevity. Sennheiser is where it's at.

i havent heard the a700's but they are closed design, the ath-m50s are also a closed design, both are over the ear. since ath-m50 are low impedance, and just imo in comparison from tests with the soundcards ive had, asus xonar dx, asus xonar d2x, auzentech x-fi forte, auzentech x-meridian 2g, and via vt1828 onboard.
you will get best sound buying ath-m50's and using your onboard sound(or the forte but creative chips are fail so stay away from CA20K2's, the newer ones dont bug out tho ;p), if its close to realtek 898 or via vt1828 or higher, also for a mic i recommend the logitech usb desktop mic, silver USB one ;P

I've had sennheiser hd555's before they were pretty good, cant really remember the sound quality, must be pretty close to what im using now, but i sold them cause the little indent in the ear cuffs digs into my ears and makes them hurt, and my ears do no poke out at all they are very normal, if they got rid of that bump then they would be good imo, but now im using audio technica ath-m50's.

i dunno how old that is compared to 898, its worth a try in comparing your ASUS Xonar DG with it, the 898 sunds better than the DG with ath-m50's/ad700 dunno about 892
