i saw in newegg someone saying that this could run both, crossfire and sli.. 16x/16x so there is a + for sure..

2nd one from asus (ASUS M4A78TE AM3 AMD Motherboard) this can unlock the 4th core

third one from asus (M4A785TD-V EVO) this can unlock the 4th core

now my major DOUBT is if i can actually run SLI in those cards.. please help..

pd. i also wan to know which one is the best.. money is not a probles.. but remember.. only those 3 mobos as a options

pd2. asus mobos are ddr3, dont worry i already have the rams

It can't run both CrossFire and SLI, only CrossFire.

None of those motherboards are able to run SLi natively, you'll have to look elsewhere.
M4N82 Deluxe might be the best AMD board where SLI works.
omg but why these guy in constumers review from newegg said this "Pros: I like the fact that it can run 2 gpus in crossfire/sli in x16, ....."

Unfortunately, no you won't be able to. You will need to find a northbridge chipset that will run SLI. The AMD ones will run X-Fire and the Nvidia ones will run SLI. For now I'm really disappointed at the lack of AM3 boards with Nvidia NBs.
Never trust Newegg reviews.

No AMD chipset can natively support SLI.

but somehow this can be done ?

and what about this: took the asus M4A78T-E ( i think is the best of the three) and sell my two babys and buy a single gtx285 (please, i know ati kickass atm, but i just dont want ati)

this move is wise ? cuz two gtx260 are way faster than a single gtx285

Get GTX295, you should get that with those GTX260's.

It's contained on one PCB, acts as one card

Also: http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=1070 this little "hack" might allow SLI to run on your MOBO. But know nothing about it other than that

I have a M4N82 and my 9950 is a huge bottleneck for 2 280's
