Hello. As name suggests I am building a system and going to be using it for hcore gaming and $tournament$ play. Looking for a motherboard, going to use an intel i5-2500k (since bulldozer is actually dumptruck).
Going to be overclocking as far as possible. Aiming for 5GHz.

These are boards I am looking at. What do you think? Other suggestions welcomed.

As from what I understand, IvyB will work with any 1155 but those Gen3 have PCIe 3.0 for newer cards coming out, but will probably not be required for awhile because PCIe 2.0 still has plenty of bandwidth? Correct me if I am wrong there PLEASE because my friend just told me that and I haven't looking into it much.
Thanks:D:D:D

I bought this last night shortly after face-palming bulldozer.

Not sure if you are set on the Z68 chipset, but the reviews on the P67 were great, which seems to be rare for an Intel motherboard o_O

Anyways, my board should be in Friday and I can let you know how it goes.

Or you can get The Asus or Evga boards as well. Going on Ivy Bridge and PCIE 3.0 is just a bios update away. As said many times Z68 boards will have bios upgrades for ivy bridge and pcie 3.0. I would pick either Evga or Asus Maximus, a bit inclined on the Asus part.
