Working with a RED CPU LED on my motherboard... Just upgraded my 1055t to a 8350 on my M5a97 EVO along with the power supply tonight. I've got everything together properly but I'm getting a red led right under the heat sink. All power points are connected properly from what I can tell and all the fans are spinning but it's not booting... I've never come across this problem so any help would be great.

have you tried updating the bios before installing the 8350?

I would take the cpu back out and check to see if you bent some pins.

Oddest thing,,, The cpu wasn't locking in. I set it then pulled it up twice while it was stuck to the heatsink. Finally got it set though... everything is good.
