So i'd like to make some wireless trailer lights but without having any experience with rf modules i'm not exactly sure what to get. I know i need a transponder with 12v input, 4 channel's. The "security" doesnt really matter. And a paired receiver that can power some 12v trailer lights.

I know i'll need more than just the modules and lights and a battery but getting the right rf stuff is where i'm questioning myself esp considering these are made to be used as arduino modules?
Anyone with any experience in using these or other modules or any other RF equipment that would get the job done for less than the $100-400 other options would be greatly appreciated!
